Background
Azeem Chabi Maker is a local locksmith serving customers in Saadi Town and the surrounding areas of Karachi. The business had a physical shop and an established customer base, but it had one major problem: customers searching for locksmith services on Google couldn’t find it.
For emergency services like lock repairs, key duplication, and lockouts, people usually search online for the nearest available locksmith. Without a verified Google Business Profile, the business was missing valuable opportunities to connect with those customers.
Recognizing this visibility gap, I worked with the owner to establish a professional Google Business Profile and help the business become discoverable on Google Search and Google Maps.
The Challenge
The challenge was getting the business approved by Google.
Although the owner operated from a physical shop, the Google Business Profile repeatedly faced verification challenges because the supporting business information wasn’t sufficient to complete Google’s approval process.
There was another opportunity as well. Local customers were far more likely to search for “Chabi Maker” than “Lockmaker.” Optimizing the business name around the term customers commonly use would improve its visibility for relevant local searches.
The goal was simple: successfully verify the business, optimize the profile, and make it easy for nearby customers to find a trusted locksmith when they needed one.
The Solution
This wasn’t a standard Google Business Profile setup, it required solving technical verification challenges before any Local SEO optimization could begin.
Over three working days, I worked through Google’s approval process, resolved the verification issues, and successfully got the business listed on Google.
Once approved, I optimized the profile with accurate business information, relevant categories, service details, photos, and local search optimization. I also aligned the business branding with the language customers commonly use when searching for locksmith services, helping improve its visibility for relevant local searches.
The result was a verified and optimized Google Business Profile that gave Azeem Chabi Maker the opportunity to reach customers actively searching for locksmith services nearby.

Today, Azeem Chabi Maker has a verified Google Business Profile that allows nearby customers to discover the business through Google Search and Google Maps.
Within the first 20 days after verification, the profile generated profile views, direction requests, phone calls, and a confirmed new customer, demonstrating that solving the verification challenge was the first step toward building local visibility.
This case study demonstrates an important lesson: Local SEO isn’t always about improving rankings. Sometimes the biggest challenge is getting a legitimate business successfully verified on Google. Once that foundation is in place, customers can finally find the business when they need it most.
Ready to See What’s Possible?
Every business is different. Some only need a few improvements to their Google Business Profile, while others require a complete Local SEO strategy.
I don’t recommend services you don’t need. I’ll first review your business, understand your competition, and tell you honestly whether Local SEO is the right investment for you.
If it is, we’ll build a strategy focused on one thing: bringing you more local customers.
